DISHWASHER:

Shards of glass: Turn off the lights and shine a flashlight into
dishwasher. Any shards will sparkle. Halve a raw potato. Dab the potato
over the glass. The shards will embed in the potato. Run an empty cycle
to flush out any remaining small pieces.
